The timing of Ashley’s participation on the programme coincides with her recent defence of her choice to stop breastfeeding her twins, who are now 13 months old. She admitted to guest presenter Chelsea Handler on The Daily Show that she chose to stop nursing Malachi and Roman after five months and that she provided them the best formula she could not obtain in the United States.
The model, who serves as the face of the infant formula brand Bobbie, made a statement on those who believe they have the right to dictate what other people should feed their children.
Ashley opined: “I don’t think we should be advising parents how they should be feeding their children. These little fellas are so powerful and so happy.” The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover star said in jestingly: “There’s this whole thing with people advising you how to feed your child. It’s like feeding a country. I remember thinking, “I couldn’t only breastfeed my first child.” This is the proper approach.

In addition, Ashley, who is married to Justin, had her brunette hair pulled back into a chic updo and accessorised with a little of red lipstick and eyeliner.
The plus-size beauty discussed parenting with host Chelsea and said that it has been a journey, noting that her hair has even fallen out. When I got pregnant with twins, I decided I was not going to continue. This situation does not work. You two are fighting over [my breasts]. It takes a lot of labour. Ashley, however, previously opened up to the PEOPLE about her difficult breastfeeding experience.
She admitted that the first week of breastfeeding her twins had been difficult because she was still getting the hang of positioning and latching them.
After a while, Ashley stated, things began to change for her and the children she gave birth to in January 2022. She said, “It was like we didn’t want to do it anymore all of a sudden, and I felt defeated.” What am I going to do, I thought? “How will I feed my infants?” The model continued by saying that in order to get through the challenging times, she had to have some internal dialogue with herself.
Nevertheless, Ashley had already met Justin [shown] during a church session in 2009, and the two of them promptly started dating. The couple was married the following year.
