Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Hemming forced to hire dementia specialist after actor’s new diagnosis

By this time, Bruce Willis has become a mainstay on our television and movie screens. The actor has given many famous performances in both suspenseful mysteries and action-packed thrillers.

The actor only recently declared his retirement after receiving a diagnosis of “aphasia.” Yet, the diagnosis was just upgraded…

When Willis and Heming first met in 2007 at the gym run by their trainer, they both expressed how in love they were. Heming, a British-American model and actress, was born in California and reared in north London. At age 16, she was spotted on a morning television program.

When we first met, Heming remarked, “I was shocked at how personable and amusing he was, as well as extremely gorgeous. That was my initial impression of you.

Willis, who was 52 at the time, admitted: “I was already in love with her. Before getting married in March 2009, the two had been dating for a year.

Moore and Willis attended Willis’ wedding even though Moore had legally divorced Moore almost ten years before. The two still keep in touch and have three daughters together. The couple had their first kid together soon after getting married. Heming gave birth to their second daughter two years later.

Bruce said to Closer in 2017: “I don’t want to be apart from Emma at all. It’s the most unique relationship I’ve ever had in my life.”

Emma Heming is now keeping the promises she made to Willis more than ten years ago. The family has verified that Willis has Frontotemporal Dementia, a year after going public with the claim that he had “aphasia” (FTD for short).

His memory and speech are impacted by the diagnosis. The diagnosis’ implications were explained to the media by Dr. Allison Reiss, a member of the Medical, Scientific, and Memory Screening Advisory Council for the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. That has “a lot of severe repercussions,” she claimed, including “difficulty saying words, understanding the meaning of words, and remembering and recognizing familiar items,” because the causes are a “hodgepodge of different things that have been thrown together.” His memory and speech are impacted by the diagnosis. As “the problem spreads and grows worse,” she continued, everything “simply gets more difficult” until “you pretty much lose everything.”

Yet, she urged families to hold onto optimism despite the difficulties that come with the diagnosis. And the family appears to be acting in this manner.

Teepa Snow is a specialist in dementia care who has been employed by Emma Heming. She offers awareness, knowledge, and practical skills. “I’m pleased I got the opportunity to work with @teepasnows pac who has helped me add to my dementia care toolbox,” Heming posted on Instagram in praise of Snow.

She navigates herself with pure empathy and is a kind, empathetic, and skilled leader in this field, according to Heming. She is a blessing.

Heming was praised by Snow in the comments section. She was grateful for Heming’s treatment of her spouse in the wake of his illness. “@emmahemingwillis has done an absolutely remarkable job of providing the right support for Bruce as his abilities have changed and created a place space and life that continues to provide him with what he needs to live well,” she wrote, adding, “Frontal temporal dementia is never easy but with the right programming and support, it truly is possible to continue living life. Congratulations to Emma and the rest of the family on their tremendous effort and commitment. It is simply amazing!

It is more crucial than ever for Bruce’s family to give him the proper care and support as the truths of his diagnosis come to light.

The family is in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this trying period on their own. Share this article with others so they may remember the Willis family as well.
