Tom Littledyke is a former Royal Marine in the United Kingdom. He has filled a 16-seat bus with toys, sleeping bags, and pillows for refugees leaving their nation as a result of the Russian invasion.
He plans to travel 1,000 miles along the Ukrainian border to Poland to deliver these goods personally to the people. Tom Littledyke began this on February 28 after seeing photos of families being broken apart and destroyed as a result of the fighting.

Littledyke has started a plan to collect funds to assist pay for all of the materials and gifts they will be distributing. Within 12 hours, the fundraising had donated to the BBC, “Too frequently do we believe we have to achieve something great, and if it can’t be great, what’s the point?” It creates no difference in what we do, as long as it is on the right path. There are so many of us who want to contribute that it will all add up to this massive thing.”

He will travel 1,000 miles across England, France, Germany, and Poland. Before arriving at his final destination, he stops at the Ukrainian border, where over 500,000 refugees have fled to avoid fighting. What he told about his journey was,
“I’m best of emotions and clear drive. The support I’ve received from others has encouraged me to keep going.”
