Janitor Who Walks Miles To Work Drops To His Knees After Coworkers Raise $7,000 For New Truck

For a better world, we must instill in our children a sense of humanity. It demonstrates our love for one another. Even though there are good and wicked people in the world, we should not give up on humanity.

For almost four months, Robert Reed, 60, worked as a janitor at Farmington Elementary School in Germantown, Tennessee. In such a short time, he won over everyone at school with his kind and diligent manner. He had a reputation for being eager to put in extra effort around the campus.

Robert had to take three buses, walk two miles, then do the opposite on the way home so that he could get there by 8 o’clock in order to get to work on time.

He had no automobile, which was the only aspect of him that the kids were unaware of. But the coworkers were aware of Robert’s difficulties with travel. Sometimes after school, some people would give him a ride to the bus station while others would pay for his meals.
Eventually, the coworkers decided to help Robert out in a very special way by pooling their resources and holding an internet campaign to raise money to buy him a new truck.

Without a vehicle, Robert’s plan to launch a yard company to generate extra revenue would not be feasible. When Robert learned of the kind surprise his coworkers had prepared for him, he was rendered speechless and immediately fell to his knees. Watch Robert’s emotional reaction as the surprise is presented to him.

Please share this tale with all of your friends if it impacted your heart.
